Verity Variants
Fan-made recolors of the yellow smiley assistant from the Minecraft series Verity — Falsity (blue), Cruelty (red), Lovity (pink) and a growing list of other '-ity' siblings.
Verity variants are alternate versions of Verity, the floating yellow smiley-face AI helper from a Minecraft horror series, each with its own color and personality. Falsity is blue and associated with lies; Cruelty is red or darker and hostile; Lovity is pink and affectionate. The set is often rattled off in a rhythmic list — 'verity, falsity, cruelty, lovity' — which is why people search for it as if it were a lyric, and fans keep inventing more '-ity' names.
History
Verity is a Minecraft horror ARG and web series created by the YouTuber ThatMob, whose first episode went up on 30 May 2026. The character starts out as a supportive 'personal helper friend' and grows steadily more unsettling. On 17 June 2026 the YouTuber xqree published a video about a Verity mod sequel that introduced Falsity, and fans soon extended the idea with Cruelty, Lovity and more. The variants spread through fan animations, Minecraft mods, Roblox content, quizzes and short-form video.
